Gadgets for your blog
Adding gadgets to your blog is a great way to add customization. Sure you have the great ones that blogspot offers right on the menu that is user friendly, but if you look out of the box so to say there are many other ones on the web you can add. For example I just added one that lets you tell the location of your recent visitors.

Another reason I don't like the digital world! Everyone knows everything without me giving permission!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very interesting gadget. In one of my other classes I recently read an online blog where they discussed that there really isn't that much privacy on the world wide web. America Online years ago sent out names of people and where they had gone online, but they switched the person's name with a number...then what happened you ask? New York Times figured out the names of a few individuals and all of a sudden their photo was in the news along with where they had gone online! It is scary to think that all of our personal information is floating around and that someone who is smart enough to hack into our accounts can retrieve our personal information, but then again, with everything there are risks, small or big, so we kind of have to take some of that responsibility, we chose to be a part of the world wide web.
ReplyDeleteIt is so true that the Internet knows more than we may want it to know. So be careful about everything you do online. Actually be careful about everything you do everywhere because it may get on the Internet through other processes.
